Our weekend services are designed to help you feel like a welcomed guest. We want this to be a place where you are excited about inviting friends who don't attend church on a consistent basis.
We want to help you make friends as part of a team. We have several teams and opportunities for you to serve alongside that will embrace your unique gifts and passions. Click here to join a team. This will give you a fast track into a community at Cornerstone.
Josh graduated from St. Louis Christian College in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible with a Preaching Specialization and from Cincinnati Christian University with a Master of Arts in Religion with a Specialization in Pastoral Leadership in 2012. Josh joined the staff of Cornerstone in 2008. In Josh’s spare time he likes spending time with his wife and his three kids. Watching the Georgia Bulldogs or Atlanta Braves while eating pizza and drinking Cherry Coke is a favorite pastime. During weekend services, he will be in the foyer welcoming people or by the Next Steps area meeting the guests of our church.
Join a Life Group
Life Groups are a wonderful way to connect with others on an even deeper level than is possible at a worship service. In these groups, people share the ups and downs of their lives with one another. In addition, groups study God’s word together and pray for the needs of those in their group. Groups meet throughout the week, primarily in the homes of other church members, but also at church, in coffee houses, and a variety of other locations.
Be sure to attend the Group Link on August 19 & 20 or August 26 & 27 to connect with a new group. Stop by the Connection Corner in the lobby area following any service!
Rick received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from St Louis Christian College. His favorite pastimes include reading, old movies, and all things National Football League. Rick has served as Pastor in several churches in Illinois, as well as with a church planting ministry to Northern Brazil. In 1993 Rick came during a transitional time in our congregation’s history and was able to serve in several capacities during a time that God has blessed Cornerstone richly. You can usually find him greeting people as they arrive for services or talking with people in the prayer room.
The goal of Cornerstone Women's Ministry is to encourage, strengthen, and educate women to their full potential in God. Cornerstone Women provides knowledge and understanding of God while giving opportunities for women to identify and use their unique strengths. This happens through Bible Studies, a spring retreat, and special one night events that occur throughout the year. Times of fellowship are also available through periodic activities.
We offer Life Groups for women meeting at various times through out the week. Life Group Listing
The goal of Cornerstone Men's Ministry is to connect every man (regardless of age) to Jesus and encourage them through fellowship with other men. We offers several Bible Studies throughout the year as well as a Men’s Retreat in the fall. In the spring, our Men take an annual Mission Trip to Bond Christian Service Camp. Projects are completed that will prepare the camp for summer. The guys also help around the church building a few times a year with projects or sprucing up for holidays. Other events are often scheduled as well. These vary from chili-cook-offs to trips to Dave and Buster’s and many other things in between. Information can be found about all these events on the Hub.
