CIY MIX is a five-day summer event specifically designed for students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. It is intentionally crafted in ways that will engage middle school students through tactile, epic games and activities coupled with Interactive teaching, engaging worship, and small group interaction.
In the summer of 2018, MIX will help middle school students understand what it means to follow Jesus. The book of John makes it very clear that following Jesus is a matter of light and darkness. They will look at God’s family in comparison to the world’s chaos and address some of big questions like “Is Jesus the ONLY way to be saved?” “What if I don’t believe everything people say about Jesus?” “There are some Christians I don’t like … Is that bad?” .
This is an event you wont want your student to miss! A week like this not only is an investment in your students knowing the bible better but it can also be the single best way to connect them in peer and mentor relationships that matter.
CIY stands for Christ In Youth, an organization that works in partnership with the local church, providing more than 100 annual program events for students and leaders across the United States and in more than ten foreign countries. CIY believes God has uniquely and specifically equipped every student for Kingdom work. In response to His call, students can actively serve in the harvest fields of their families, schools, churches and communities- not someday- but TODAY
