Children are not just pint-sized adults. It is our goal to have lessons prepared specifically for their age. We have great volunteers that commit themselves to teaching the children in their care and at the same time, they make it fun! Whether it be through a craft, singing, games or story time, your child will hear truths about God in a way that they can understand.
Our Cornerstone Kids area has a computerized registration process that takes just a few minutes to fill out. At check-in you will be given a self-adhesive label for each child. Your child will have one portion of the label placed on his or her back. The other part will be for you to keep with you. Both portions of the label have a matching unique identification number that will be verified when you pick up your child.
If we need to contact you during the service, you will receive a text to your cell phone or your individual number will be flashed on the bottom of the screens in the Worship Center.
We use the curriculum and ministry strategy of Orange which is a comprehensive plan for ministry from the cradle to college. Orange draws on the elements of wonder, discovery and passion, infusing them into children, students and young adults.
Watch this video for an in-depth look at what Orange at Cornerstone is all about.
While Orange provides a basic curriculum, it is much more than that. The Orange philosophy focuses on the combined efforts of the church and the parents. The church partners with parents to help children see God for who He is and to help young people see themselves the way God sees them, so that they can love others the way God does. We believe that two combined influences have a greater impact than either influence could have alone.
