What Is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week journey for people in every life stage, wherever they are on their walk with Christ. The weekly readings teach us what it means to be a disciple of Jesus through an experiential model built on foundational elements of Christianity such as Scripture, prayer, worship, generosity, and service.
Do you believe God has uniquely created you with a purpose and a plan? What if you heard God speak and you felt the love of Jesus in a profound way? Imagine yourself in a community of people who care for you, listen to you, and support you. What if you stepped into the Rooted journey and experienced personal transformation? Rooted is a catalyst for life change where a discussion is held in a small group environment, creating a safe space for Biblical exploration and practical learning experiences. We believe God will use this experience as a tool to bring life-change and transformation to the Metro East.
Rooted will launch with a large group gathering on January 21 and will end with a celebration on March 29.
Outside of the large group gatherings, participants are encouraged to choose between Sunday, Monday, or Thursday availability.
All Rooted groups will meet at Cornerstone's Shiloh Campus from 6:30-8pm, allowing us to provide childcare on each night.
The cost is $50 per participant. (an option to donate toward Rooted scholarships is available at registration)
We want to help you connect with Jesus and others at Cornerstone. This hour long class is designed to help you do just that. We will discuss the many ways you can get connected, share our beliefs, and briefly give an overview of our history.
