Your family is a big deal to us and we do everything we can to ensure our Kid's environment is clean, safe, and secure so you as a parent can have peace of mind.  Our volunteers are there to invest in your children by building relationships that point them to Jesus.

What to Expect!

On your first visit, stop by Family Central.  You'll be greeted by a Kids Volunteer ready to meet your family and show you how our Cornerstone Kids area works.  They will walk you through every step along the way, right up to the classroom.  We welcome any questions you may have.

Safety is a priority for us, so we will need some information on your first visit including: adult's name, child's name and date of birth, address, cell phone number, a parent email, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).  All volunteers go through a vetting process that includes a background check, an application process, as well as attending training to ensure they are familiar with safety policies and emergency procedures.

Dusty Schulz
Children's Minister
Dusty first came to Cornerstone as a Resident in June 2018.   In January 2019, he joined Cornerstone staff as our Children's Minister and graduated from Ozark Christian College in May 2020.

Dusty is passionate about loving kids and pointing them to the love of Christ as well as connecting their parents with the church to ensure that they will teach their kids as well.

He is Missouri born and raised and in his free time, he loves running, climbing trees, drinking cheap coffee, and being with people.
Brittany Bear
Children's Minister
Brittany grew up in Greenville, Ohio, a small city best known for its county fair and the Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe. Having a heart for kids, she attended Saint Louis Christian College to pursue a degree in Children's Ministry and gain practical experience in the church. She graduated in 2014 and married her husband, Japheth, the same year. After a couple of big moves and ministries together, they are excited to be joining Cornerstone. Brittany has a love for people, the church, and God's word. She is passionate about discipleship and seeing little lives changed by the good news of Jesus! In her spare time, Brittany enjoys drinking multiple cups of coffee, rewatching Gilmore Girls, spending quality time with people, or listening to Harry Potter on Audible.

Early Childhood (Birth-5yrs)

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on three basic truths:

  1. God made me
  2. God loves me
  3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever

Programming is available at all four weekend services.

Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th grade)

Everything we teach our elementary students is based on three basic truths:

  1. I need to make wise choices.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Programming is available at all four weekend services.

Kids Club

We're excited about our Kids Club!

Kids Club partners with parents to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  Each week, kids will experience high energy games, dynamic worship, an engaging lesson, and Scripture memorization along with their peers.

We have plans to begin Kids Club again this Fall.

Special Needs

Kids with special needs hold a special place in our hearts! We offer buddies on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in conjunction with our Kids Club program. Our goal is to include those kiddos with Special Needs in as much of the program as possible.

On Saturdays at 5 pm, and Sundays at 11 am we provide a safe area for kids with Special Needs at our Shiloh Campus. We  purposefully provide the appropriate amount of care for each individual child. Children will have opportunities to be involved in sensory activities and we provide Bible teaching as well. For more information contact Save Save Save
