Cornerstone Kids is OPEN!

We have classes available for Walkers through Grade 5 on Sundays at 9:30am & 11am at the Shiloh Campus.

We will evaluate nursery needs in the coming weeks.

For the safety of everyone, our classrooms have maximum capacity limits. Our goal is to always take care of your kids in the best possible way during this new season.

Kids are also always welcome to worship with their families in service.

What to Expect

On your first visit, stop by Family Central.  You'll be greeted by a Kids Volunteer ready to meet your family and show you how our Cornerstone Kids area works.  They will walk you through every step along the way, right up to the classroom.  We welcome any questions you may have.

Safety is a priority for us, so we will need some information on your first visit including adult's name, child's name and date of birth, address, cell phone number, a parent email, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).  All volunteers go through a vetting process that includes a background check, an application process, as well as attending training to ensure they are familiar with safety policies and emergency procedures.

Check out our Parent Resource Page.

Staff

Dusty Schulz
Children's Minister
Dusty first came to Cornerstone as a Resident in June 2018.   In January 2019, he joined Cornerstone staff as our Children's Minister and graduated from Ozark Christian College in May 2020.

Dusty is passionate about loving kids and pointing them to the love of Christ as well as connecting their parents with the church to ensure that they will teach their kids as well.

He is Missouri born and raised and in his free time, he loves running, climbing trees, drinking cheap coffee, and being with people.
In October 2020, he married Tiffany Snyder, our Graphic Designer.
Brittany Bear
Children's Minister
Brittany grew up in Greenville, Ohio, a small city best known for its county fair and the Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe. Having a heart for kids, she attended Saint Louis Christian College to pursue a degree in Children's Ministry and gain practical experience in the church. She graduated in 2014 and married her husband, Japheth, the same year. After a couple of big moves and ministries together, they are excited to be joining Cornerstone. Brittany has a love for people, the church, and God's word. She is passionate about discipleship and seeing little lives changed by the good news of Jesus! In her spare time, Brittany enjoys drinking multiple cups of coffee, rewatching Gilmore Girls, spending quality time with people, or listening to Harry Potter on Audible.

How Are We Staying COVID-Friendly?

Your family is a big deal to us!  We are doing everything we can to ensure our Kid's environment is clean, safe, and secure so you as a parent can have peace of mind.  Here are some of the extra measures our Cornerstone Kids Team is taking to make sure your family stays safe while in our care:

  • With COVID-19 still around, we are limiting each of our classrooms to 10 people.  For this reason, we are registering kids into the area on a first-come basis.  This is so that we can encourage social distancing and ensure the safety of your kids.
  • Staff and volunteers in the Cornerstone Kids area are REQUIRED to wear face masks or face shields.
  • All toys are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly after each service.

We hope we can ease your mind of any concerns you have about your kids returning to Cornerstone Kids during this uncertain COVID-19 season.  If you have any questions, feel free to email dusty@onecornerstone.org.
