Praying isn't as difficult as we think it is sometimes.  However, we also know it's hard to get started with something so unfamiliar.  Here are some resources to both help you in your new prayer journey as well as encourage you in this next step.

Prayer Structures

Do you feel unsure of how or what to include in your prayers? Praying through a structure is a great method to use when praying.  Try whichever one below resonates with you best!

ACTS

ADORATION
Reflect and Praise God for His roles and his character.

CONFESSION
A time to confess your sins to God.

THANKSGIVING
Thank God for what He is doing and has done in your life and others around you.

SUPPLICATION
Spend time talking to  God about the needs in your life, in those around you, and around the world.

PRAY

PRAISE
Praise God for what you see Him doing in you and around you.

REPENT
Take time to ask God for forgiveness for your sins.

ASK
Ask God to meet the needs that you see.

YIELD
Spend some time in silence to see what God may say to you. Finish by thanking God for who He is.
