When you come to Cornerstone, we want to provide a safe and fun environment for your kids to learn about Jesus so that you can be fully engaged in the main service.  We offer programming for Kids ages Newborn through 5th Grade.  Cornerstone Kids is available during all services!

Dusty Schulz

Childrens Minister
Dusty Schulz first came to Cornerstone as a resident, but quickly built relationships with families and became a dynamic part of the Family Team. In 2019, he  graduated from Ozark Christian College and officially joined us in the position of Childrens Minister.  He is married to his wife, Tiffany, and is a competitive runner.

Kyla Wood

Associate Childrens Minister
Kyla Wood was attending Cornerstone and volunteering in Kids Ministry since her senior year of high school. After getting a business degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) and doing a residency in Kids Ministry, she took on the official role of Associate Childrens Minister in 2024.

Ericka Knoll

Childrens Ministry Resident
Ericka Knoll graduated from Central Christian College of the Bible in 2024. She came to Cornerstone for a year-long residency in the Summer of 2025. She jumped right into a busy season of events with Kids Fest and Elementary Camp back-to-back, proceeding to make connections with families and volunteers while being a rockstar on the team.

Kids Club is our midweek programming for kids, Preschool - 5th Grade. The primary purpose of Kids Club is discipleship — providing kids an opportunity to have fun and learn alongside their friends, and providing parents with resources to continue the conversation at home.

Each Wednesday, kids can expect to learn from God’s Word, memorize a verse from Scripture, and participate in a group activity. Kids will be placed in groups based on their grades and will rotate to different stations throughout the evening.  The first week, your kids will be given workbooks that are set up like a daily devotional. We encourage you to set aside some family time to read Scripture and answer the daily questions together. Kids Club is for the kids, but beyond that, it is a way to equip parents to be disciple-makers in the home.

Keeping Kids Safe

Your family is a big deal to us!  We do everything we can to ensure our Kid's environment is clean, safe, and secure so you as a parent can worship worry free.  Here are some of the measures our Cornerstone Team takes to make sure your family stays safe while in our care:

Background Checks

Each volunteer working in our ministry has been background checked as part of their application process. We want parents to feel at-ease leaving their kids in our care.

Secure Check-in

At check-in kids and parents will receive a security tag with a special code for their children.  Kids can only be checked out with a corresponding Parent tag.

Limited Capacity

Classroom space is limited and kids are registered on a first-come basis. Our team & volunteers do everything they can to make sure your child receives the best experience possible.  

Cleaning & Disinfecting

All toys are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly after each service.
