Whether you call Cornerstone your home or you've lived in the community for awhile, you've seen part of our church as a construction site over the past year.  The vision, plans, and prayers for this day have been taking place for much longer though.  God has been doing incredible things in and through Cornerstone and we'd love you to join in on the celebrations!

Construction for our new building has started and we're so excited to watch the progress!  Check out some of the key moments that have happened  so far:

• May 2025: Groundbreaking Ceremony where our church worship and prayed over the construction.
• July 2025:  Part of our parking lot was ripped up to lay new groundwork
• August 2025: Concrete for light posts and footings for the foundation were put into place
• September 2025: Brickwork was started. The walls of the church started to be built up!
• October 1, 2025: Door Frames are being installed and underground plumbing is being installed.
• October 16, 2025: Underground electrical is being installed, brickwork continues along with door frames, and underground plumbing is being installed. 
• November 6, 2025: Walls continue to go up and the concrete pad is being poured for the lobby and bathrooms.
• December 3, 2025: Steel is being placed in the Worship center.
• December 18, 2025: The decking is going on the roof and you can start to see the space.
• January 7, 2026: Framing has started in part of the lobby and you can now see the future bathrooms.  Sprinkler pipes have been installed.  And underground conduit for electrical is underway.
• February 5, 2026: The concrete was poured for our worship center floor!!!  Framing continued in the the future lobby.
• February 18, 2026: HVAC, roofers, masons, framers, electrical, all on site doing work. Most importantly the masons will be finishing the worship center wall so we can get the roof on next week.  We received a lot of deliveries, but the most important one was our future baptistery is here!
• February 26, 2026: The roof started being laid down, our current building was rearranged to allow for the new building to be attached, and blue waterproofing was painted on (and scared everyone!).
• March 2, 2026: A major step forward is roofing is officially going on.  Masons are putting the brick finish on the front of the building. Fire Sprinklers are being installed. Interior framing is mostly done. Waterproofing is in progress (blue rubber paint on side of building). 
• March 23, 2026: HVAC continues to be installed.  Framing is still going up, we are preparing to pour the stage, Brick work is almost finished.
• April 24, 2026: Cables were run for sound, drywall went up, the outside of the building is getting its finishings with coat and color, and wall paint has been picked.
• June 12, 2026: Lights have been installed in the auditorium, walls are being painted, floors are being polished, and installation of gas lines for the fireplace.
