What Can You Expect?
Our nursery is a safe, welcoming space created for your baby! Our nursery is equipped with age-appropriate toys, supplies, and caring leaders so your child can be well cared for while you attend service.
When you arrive, one of our nursery leaders will greet you and, if it’s your first visit, introduce themselves and help you get settled. We ask you to leave your child’s diaper bag with us and share any helpful information about your baby’s needs they might have during service. There is also a space to leave strollers for your convenience.
During the service, our volunteers do more than meet physical needs. They pray over your baby, sing songs, and read Scripture, planting seeds of faith from the very beginning.
We know that leaving your baby in a new environment can take time. Our leaders understand that some children (and parents!) may need a few weeks to adjust, and we encourage parents to continue bringing their child regularly to help create familiarity and a smooth transition into their next classroom once they begin to walk.
Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. All nursery volunteers are background checked, classrooms are equipped with cameras, and changing stations are available for parents and adult female leaders to use. In addition, Cornerstone Kids staff members are CPR and AED certified.
Nursing Mother's Room
For moms who are nursing, we’re grateful to provide a private nursing space in our nursery within the children’s area. As we continue building our new worship center and renovating existing spaces, this room is temporarily relocated. Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and prayers as we look forward to all God is doing in this next season.
Nursing Mother's Room
Are you expecting a baby? Cornerstone would love to partner with you and pray for you during this special season. We invite you to fill out a short form to let us know your due date and how we can specifically pray for you as you journey through your pregnancy.
After you fill out the form, a member of the Cornerstone Children’s Team will reach out to connect with you and will continue to check in and pray for you throughout your pregnancy.

Frequently Asked Questions?
Are volunteers background checked?
Yes! All volunteers who serve in our kids ministry are background checked and interviewed by our children's team.
Can we tour the nursery space?
Absolutely! Please stop by our children's welcome desk and we can take you back into the nursery space for a tour.
What ages does the nursery accept?
We accept babies at any age up until they start walking. Once they have learned to walk, they will move up into the walkers classroom!
How frequently is the nursery cleaned?
We clean our nursery weekly sanitizing all toys and surfaces so your baby can be safe and healthy!
Can I leave my stroller?
Yes, we have a space in our nursery where you can leave your stroller!
Who gets to hold my baby?
Only our adult volunteers are allowed to hold your baby.
What is the ratio?
For our nursery we maintain a ratio of 1 adult volunteer for every 2 babies. We understand it can take many hands to care for your child during service. Our mission is to keep the nursery equipped with our trained volunteers!
What happens if my baby is crying?
Crying is a normal response to an unfamiliar environment. We give your child 15 minutes to acclimate to our room and volunteers. If those 15 minutes have passed and are still distressed you can anticipate a text from our team letting you know. However we invite you to keep returning since this can help your child build familiarity and comfortability!
Can you feed my baby?
Yes! We can feed your baby whatever is provided by you. We ask that if your baby drinks formula that you mix the bottle for us at drop off. If your child is still nursing, you are welcome to pick up your baby and use our nursing mothers room found next to the cafe.
What if my baby needs to sleep?
If your child is sleeping when you drop off, you are welcome to leave your child in their car seat and we can take them out once they wake up. If they fall asleep with us we are equipped with cribs and baby swings where your child can rest.
What if my baby needs a diaper change?
If your baby needs a diaper change while you're in service, our adult female volunteers can change your child's diaper. If your baby has any special needs during diaper changes, leave those instructions for us when you drop off!
Do you have safety protocols?
Yes! We have emergency procedures for evacuation, lockdown, and severe weather. There is also a procedure in place regarding how to pick-up your child when these events occur.
